Jason Varcoe
Director
Jason is Muguriyarra’s Managing Director and a Chartered Professional Engineer. Jason has experience in all facets of the industry, including geotechnical engineering, stormwater damage and earthworks. He has worked overseas in Christchurch and London for a number of years and earned his BE Civil at Canterbury University in 2004. Jason’s knowledge and abilities have helped Muguriyarra’s management systems to grow to the levels required by large resource clients.
Jaiden Hayes
Director
Jaiden has a passion for operating construction plant and has been working through out the Pilbara his whole life. Jaiden is highly experienced on all earthmoving plant and wants to impart this knowledge to the younger generation.
John Lange
Operations Manager
Operations Manager, John Lange, brings his 30-plus years of construction experience to Muguriyarra. John makes sure the company complies with organisational health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Eugene McAlpine
Construction Manager
Eugene has been on the team since 2015 and is responsible for overall coordination of staff, planning of work schedules for our Onslow Crews and projects.
About Muguriyarra
Muguriyarra is a 50/50 joint-venture partnership between capability partner NTC Contracting and JLAH Contracting, a wholly owned Thalanyji / Ngarluma Indigenous business.
JLAH Contracting was formed by Thalanyji man Jaiden Hayes in 2022 as a progression to grow his skill set in earthmoving and road construction into a business where he can impart his knowledge and promote growth of the younger generation. Jaiden has a passion for operating construction machinery and wants to pass down this passion to the younger generation who often don’t get the chance to learn.
