Who Are Muguriyarra
Muguriyarra is a civil contracting company underpinned by Indigenous leadership and workforce engagement. The company was formed from the belief that we can make a difference to the local Aboriginal communities by creating employment opportunities and long-lasting value.
A Joint Partnership
Muguriyarra is a 50/50 joint-venture partnership between capability partner NTC Contracting and JLAH Contracting, a wholly owned Thalanyji / Ngarluma Indigenous business.
JLAH Contracting was formed by Thalanyji man Jaiden Hayes in 2022 as a progression to grow his skill set in earthmoving and road construction into a business where he can impart his knowledge and promote growth of the younger generation. Jaiden has a passion for operating construction machinery and wants to pass down this passion to the younger generation who often don’t get the chance to learn.
Keeping It Local
Now with the growth of JLAH Contracting there are 3 generations of Jaiden’s family working in the business including his daughter and also his father, a Ngarluma man.
Muguriyarra are proud to support local families and the community by offering employment opportunities, particularly for Indigenous Australians.

Our Roots
NTC Contracting has a rich history of operations in the Northwest. The company began in 1950 as Northern Transport Co, with the focus on providing a road freight service in Onslow.
